Here’s a look at some evocative tavern names for a fantasy DND campaign: Feel free to use these or get inspired to come up with your own unique names. He’s known to offer food and drink at a reasonable price, and the building has a secret hideout in the basement, which can only be accessed by entering a building nearby. If players ask if HE is the filthy dog, Garkor will greatly appreciate the title!

This tavern is located in the outskirts of the city and is a favorite among soldiers, mercenaries and bandits. The Lonely Wench is known for its fine ale, hearty food and marvelous atmosphere. The inn is run by a retired soldier named Dagan. Dagan is known to always wear an expression of melancholy, and you’ll be sure to notice that the Lonely Wench is lacking in female patrons. People say that a few years ago, the tavern was frequented by female warriors and sometimes even female adventurers. One day, everyone suddenly disappeared. Nowadays, no one knows what happened. Some say they went off to conquer a mighty enemy or that they left to start a new life. Others say they were carried off by demons or monsters. But the most terrifying rumor suggests that they’re cursed, forever trapped as invisible spirits within the walls of the tavern.

This is a great tavern located in the midst of the city. It’s well known for its fine wines, cheeses, breads and its delicious ales. The Red Chicken is run by an orcish family, known for their hospitality and good cheer. Some people say it’s haunted by a red chicken by night, but nothing is known about its origins or how it got there.

12) The Gobbling Goose

This tavern is located in the heart of the city and is a favorite among locals and adventurers alike. The Gobbling Goose is well known for its fine wines, croissants, cheeses, and its delectable food. This tavern is also famous for its large patios that are perched high up on the hillside with a stunning view of the city below. Players who enjoy hitting on tavern wenches will find this place particularly interesting because there are no wenches to be found here! It’s run by two stout dwarves named Forghan and Illthal.
